Who is NM Luxury Estates?

NM Luxury Estates is a boutique real estate agency on the Costa del Sol, founded in 2022 and based in Casares del Sol, between Estepona and Sotogrande. The agency is owner-led: Michael Hannes personally guides every client, from the first viewing to the day the keys are handed over and the months after.

Where do you work?

Between Estepona and Sotogrande, including Marbella, the Golden Mile, Puerto Banus, Nueva Andalucia, Benahavis, Casares, Manilva and La Zagaleta. We know the differences between these areas, and we tell clients honestly which one fits the life they describe.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes. Clients from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia are a large part of our work. We advise in English, German, Dutch, French, Italian and Spanish.

I do not speak Spanish. Is that a problem?

No. We guide you in your own language through the whole process: the NIE number, the Spanish bank account, the lawyer who checks that the property is in order, and the appointment at the notary. You do not need to know how it works here. You need someone who does.

What does a property cost on the Costa del Sol?

Prices differ strongly per area, per plot and per state of the property, so we do not work with one list price. What we do is tell you honestly what your budget reaches in the area you have in mind, and which houses are worth your time. On top of the purchase price you should always count on additional costs and taxes; we explain the full picture for your specific case before you commit to anything.

Do you handle rentals as well?

Yes, long-term rentals as well as sales. Long-term rental prices in Marbella are higher than in the villages around it, so we always check first whether the property and the budget match.
